Who are you looking for?

We are looking for top undergraduate students from any discipline seeking entrepreneurial experience at some of the world's most innovative startups. Demonstrated interest in startups and venture capital is a plus! Students must be eligible to work in the U.S.

What do I need to prepare and share to apply?

Applicants must fill out the online application by 5:00 PM EST on March 9, 2018.

What does the selection process look like?

After the application deadline, semi-finalists will be interviewed by NEA via a phone screen. The top candidates will become NEA Next Finalists and will interview for positions at participating startups in NEA's New York portfolio. Candidates accepted into roles within the NEA portfolio will join the NEA Next Residents Class of 2018.

Do I get to choose which company I work at for the summer?

Yes, you will get to rank companies based on your preferences and the roles for which they are looking to hire interns.

How will my time be spent during the program?

You will work full-time at your host company for the 8-week period. A designated mentor within that company will work directly with you throughout your internship. You will also join program directors and participants on a weekly basis for meetings, activities, or events.

Do you pay a salary during the program?

You will receive a competitive salary from your host company, which will be negotiated directly with them.

When is the program?

The program is 8 weeks from June to August, 2016. Exact dates will be announced in March.

Where is the program?

The program is based in NY.

Do you help me relocate and find housing?

We can provide guidance on where you might be able to find housing, but will housing will not be provided as part of the program.
